All Programs are subject to change
We invite you
to join some of today’s prominent figures for some
compelling and challenging interactive discussions on the
issues and events that affect our lives. This Season we are
offering broadcasts in the realm of comedy, Jewish interest,
business, politics, journalism and more.
That isn’t
all! This Season, the 92nd Street Y Program is
bringing more than celebrities; we are bringing a “taste” of
New York, directly to Temple Shalom. 45 minutes before the
broadcast, join us in the Perman Library for some wine,
while you browse the book collection; then, join us after
the broadcast and partake of some of the most scrumptious
desserts New York has to offer. Think rugelach, cannoli,
cheesecake. Come early, enjoy a glass of wine, then stay
late and enjoy a slice of New York and get in the 92nd
Street Y state-of-mind!
On occasion,
following some of our broadcasts, we will have a discussion
session led by either a “live” moderator, or a panel of
Neapolitans conversant in the topic. We may even hold a
book review of the latest book published on the subject. The
broadcast will be only the beginning.
Former House
Speaker, Newt Gingrich, television journalist, Tom Brokaw,
and Emmy® Award winner, Judy Gold are only some of the
well-known personalities coming to our Temple (via
satellite) this Spring. New York is truly coming to Naples!
We only need you to make it happen.
We hope you
will consider supporting Temple Shalom’s 92nd
Street Y Program in an even greater way by becoming a
Broadcast or Season
See you in New
York! (Naples style)
