Fakahatchee Observing Site

Directions From Naples (try to arrive 1/2 hour before Sunset):

I-75 S via the ramp to Miami (mile 101).

Take exit 80 (Location "A") to merge onto FL-29 S. Drive about 1/2 mile. Click here for a highway sign just prior (about 50 yards) to next turn.

Turn right at mailbox (Location "B") onto dirt road and drive 0.4 miles

Turn right onto dirt road (Location "C").

Watch out for deep potholes.

Drive 0.2 miles to EAS Observing Site (Location "D")and park.
